The Residential Architect provides a full range of services to assist our clients through the design process and the construction of their projects.  Although the services are comprehensive beginning with programming and concluding with the final walk through of construction administration, The Residential Architect is flexible and will provide only those services that are necessary for a given project or as desired by a client.

Another key word in the business plan other than flexibility is satisfaction.  For that reason we strive to meet client needs and insure that they are pleased with the end results. We continue to work with our clients until they understand what is happening and/or what is being presented either by the General Contractor or The Residential Architect and until the clients are clearly aware of their options to enable them to make good and understandable decisions.

CONCEPT

The Residential Architect's concept is simply - to be the best provider of Residential Architectural Services at the best and fairest price.  The firm only accepts residential work and is, therefore, a specialist in the field.  We are flexible in the services that we provide and do not provide what is not needed or wanted to get the job done.  We only charge for the work we do and set project fee maximums on our fees so that the client is protected  from time and cost overruns that are not the clients' responsibility.  We also believe that we can develop the required solution for our clients in a reasonable time frame for a reasonable fee and therefore, set limits on the amount of time and, consequently, fee that can be charged not only for the design phase but for each phase of The Residential Architect's involvement in the project.

In an addition project, we also believe that our clients have lived in their own home and therefore, are most of how the home works best and worst and, therefore, what needs to be done to improve upon what existing. In a new building, we believe the clients' life style should influence the layout and design of the home compared to other places that they have lived or the specific desires of the Architect. We listen to our clients; we solve problems and then we design. We allow our clients to express their own ideas and desires for their own home. We work within those ideas as a planning facilitator to assist our clients in making their home all that it can be. We listen to the budget and work within that budget so that the end result is successful not only from the aesthetic but also the pocket book point of view.
